This programme brought together INEOS a global manufacturer of petrochemicals speciality chemicals and oil rich, and 30 students from the private, non-profit International School of Geneva based in Geneva, Switzerland.
The students were challenged to come up with ideas for a recruitment campaign that would attract apprentices and graduates and inspire them to want to work for INEOS against the backdrop of lots of negative publicity about the plastics industry.
The presentations from the students at the end of the 4-day programme were well received by the INEOS executives. There was a general sense of surprise about the maturity of the students, the quality of the presentation and the way in which they engaged the panel both during their presentation and during the Q&A session. The opportunity was also applauded by the parents who felt “It was an honour to attend the presentation at INEOS” and see first-hand how the students have been challenged and how much they have learnt. Their presentation was outstanding, as was their ability to answer insightful questions from Team INEOS”.
The students on this challenge were from La Chataigneraie-International School of Geneva. https://www.ecolint.ch/campus/la-châtaigneraie .
The challenge was set by Allison Crawford – HR Director for INEOS and David Kirkwood – Director of the Polymer business for INEOS, parents of Ross Kirkwood, who participated on the programme two years ago.
